Mining Technology: We Believe in Keeping the Customer Happy!

“Customer Satisfaction” is the focus of the latest revision of the ISO Quality Standard 9001:2008, of which CAID’s Cathode and Specialty Container product lines are certified to.

Each of our customers has an assigned Sales Engineer who personally interfaces with them on a daily, weekly, monthly basis dependent on the amount of work going through our Division.  This personal service extends to special requests made by our customers, like individualized cathode surface requirements for CCR and FMI Morenci.  Our QC Department has created specialized documentation to capture these requests and make sure we are meeting the requirements.

Keeping the customer happy includes meeting deliveries.  For the cathode repairs, our customers can interface directly with our Production Foreman, Eddie Teran.  Eddie knows what stage the cathodes are at in the repair cycle and can directly relate to the customer when return shipping will occur.

Another example of keeping the customer happy:  Kennecott engineering came to us with a request to supply six specially fabricated cathodes for testing in their refinery.  We responded quickly with the six new cathodes being delivered 1 week after the request.  Kennecott was very pleased with our team effort!

Happy customers keep coming back!  We are privileged in the Mining Division to have a recurring production base and with that we can establish long standing customer relationships.  Along with a great product, it is these customer relationships that make our division successful.
